With over 17 years of apprenticeship and skills trades training experience, Christina&#8217;s journey is rooted in her own path as an apprentice, culminating in her graduation from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nwlett.edu\/about-us\/apprenticeship\/\">Northwest Laborers Apprenticeship program<\/a> in 2009. Her career trajectory has seen her assume key roles, including that of an apprenticeship coordinator and regional apprenticeship &amp; Tribal liaison. Her rich history in workforce development extends to active participation in more than 20 committees across Washington state, where she passionately advocates for apprenticeship programs and collaborates with stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christina&#8217;s influence is particularly evident through her five-year co-chairmanship of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lni.wa.gov\/licensing-permits\/apprenticeship\/wsatc\">Washington State Apprenticeship &amp; Training Council (WSATC)<\/a> Tribal Liaison Sub-Committee and her remarkable four-year tenure as Co-Chair of Pacific Mountain Workforce Board&#8217;s Priority Populations committee. As a consultant, she has played an integral role in establishing new apprenticeship occupations and consistently enhancing existing apprenticeship programs and delivery models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recalling her journey, Christina offered insights into her involvement with Pacific Mountain Workforce Development. Her journey began by attending the Priority Population Committee in late 2015, serving as an enlightening introduction to PacMTN and helping her gain a deeper understanding of the diverse cultures and unique needs within their region. Subsequently, she was invited to take on the role of a board member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout her tenure, Christina takes immense pride in the board&#8217;s resilience and innovation, especially during the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic. She firmly believes that their collective determination has been pivotal in navigating the ever-evolving landscape of workforce development.
