Tricia Wiltse

Tricia Wiltse, a dedicated advocate with over two decades of experience in supporting individuals with disabilities, brings her wealth of knowledge and passion to her role as a member of the Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Board. Tricia currently serves as the supervisor for the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) office in Tumwater with the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). Her journey began in 2001, where her commitment to empowering individuals led her to support adults with accessing the community and employment opportunities. Throughout her career, she has served in various capacities, including as a mental health therapist, clinical evaluator, and program director, all with the goal of helping individuals achieve their goals and overcome barriers.
Tricia’s decision to join the PacMtn board stems from her desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals in her community. She sees her role as an opportunity to ensure equitable access to services and resources for people with disabilities while also fostering partnerships and learning more about industries in the area. Tricia’s enthusiasm for collaboration and growth aligns perfectly with the board’s mission, and she is proud to witness the positive impact of the board’s efforts firsthand.
As Tricia embraces her involvement with the board and its committees, she recognizes the importance of partnership and collaboration in creating opportunities for those in need. For her, being part of the board means working towards sustainable progress for individuals and their families, a cause she holds dear to her heart. In the words of Amanda Gorman, Tricia embodies the spirit of bravery and optimism in her endeavors: “There is always light. If only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.”
